We welcome Alex Barroux and Remi Beges to the Dynamo family on the back of leading a seed round to fuel their ambitions of building the mid-market ERP of the future.
Bonx was originally conceived inside OSS Ventures alongside Alex and Remi with the recognition that mid-market manufacturers have been underserved with critical digital tooling to help them operate their businesses effectively and efficiently.
Our excitement for Bonx stems from:
- Focused exclusively on the key features required to enable manufacturing operations. Bonx is focused on their customer’s specific pain points around manufacturing operations- purchasing, production, order management, etc. As a result, Bonx customers avoid a rip/replace of long-standing accounting and CRM software that’s generally implemented prior to an ERP. With competitive ERP offerings, customers often need to rip/replace the accounting and CRM products they currently subscribe to, to adopt an ERP.
- Integrations and interoperability to avoid data silos. Bonx recognizes the importance of being able to tie manufacturing operations to the broader organization and not have the data and intelligence sit in a silo. Customers can easily integrate and extend the use and functionality of Bonx with existing accounting, sales, and business tools.
- Leverages LLMs to reduce the time and costs associated with implementation and customization. Bonx’s advantage will be in upholding a product for the mid-market that has a fast time-to-value where a customer does not need to invest in engineering hours to implement or customize the software to use it. At present, a customer can go live in roughly three to four weeks after deciding to use Bonx. In the team’s words, 80% of an ERP is fairly standard from operation to operation, even across product types. It’s the final 20% that requires custom work that oftentimes reflects the firm’s competitive advantage and operational prowess. This can be done through a prompt-based interface that’s the core of Bonx’s “no-code” claim.
Here's to forging the future of industry by enabling mid-market manufacturers with critical tools to scale their success.
